Russia and Ukraine are meeting in Istanbul today for their first direct talks in more than three years. The two countries sent delegations to the negotiations - after Putin spurned an offer by Zelenskyy to meet face-to-face. The US has also sent a team, although Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters last night he didn't have "high expectations" for the negotiations.
